Collecting Resources
From Secondhand Lands
Rare resources are wanted by several NPC collectors in the game. When you have a full collection of a certain kind you can hand it in to the NPC collecting those rare resources to get a reward.
Recources can be obtained by looting, harvesting or digging. Some resources can therefore only be obtained by sheep, as that is the only race that can harvest fruits and vegetables, and wolves are the only characters able to dig for ores and crystals.
Catgirls can also retrieve many rares by buying resource coupons from NPC Clarisa in Mother Goose village. These coupons will give a random resource when used. The coupon points used are achieved by selling items to any NPC.
Many of these resources come as an ordinary resource too, such as Ash wood, Soapstones, etc. These non-rare resources can be sold to NPC's for cash, but sometimes they are needed for quests as well. And they are also used as materials for crafting.
By using a Beginner collection album, that you get for free at level 10, you can easily gather up one of each rare resource you have in your inventory to keep a good look at which collections that are full. In this album you will also find information on which NPC you should hand it in to.
There are also a Collector Album that can hold up to 99 of each rare, and an Expert Collection album that can hold up to 999 of each rare. Both of these are well worth the money it takes to buy it, to keep your inventory clean.
